Mrs. Caric's Principal's Corner

Dear Saint Mary Magdalene Families,

It is an honor and privilege to be the principal at Saint Mary Magdalene.  I am excited to continue to help your children grow in the rich faith tradition and academic success that is known at Saint Mary Magdalene.

I have been blessed to be a product of Catholic education.  I firmly believe that the mission of a Catholic school is to educate not just the mind, but the heart and whole child.  I believe this happens best in a community where students and faculty respect each other’s differences both in the classroom and beyond. A successful school community is where students, parents, and teachers work together to create a learning environment that prepares well-rounded students to embrace the challenges of a changing world and I believe I have found that school community at Saint Mary Magdalene.

For the last ten years, I have been a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher at Lakewood Catholic Academy and Saint Thomas Aquinas in Cleveland, Ohio.  As a Catholic educator, my vocation, my passion, and my desire is to show others how to know, love, and serve God.  I love teaching students not only how to read fluently and multiply, but to love Jesus in the most intimate way.   I am excited to extend  this burning desire to the entire Saint Mary Magdalene community.  It is my goal  to ensure high academic success for all students, as well as provide opportunities to authentically encounter Christ.  As my first year as the Principal at Saint Mary Magdalene, I plan to remain true to our mission, “to develop the whole student: academically, spiritually, and morally, in preparation for the ever-changing challenges of life.”

This promises to be another exciting year where our community will grow in both faith and wisdom.  You are the most valuable part of your child’s education.  This is a journey we will all be on together.  Like Jesus, may we “grow in wisdom, age, and grace before God and man.”  Thank you for sharing your children with each of us.

I look forward to meeting you and working with your family this school year.  Please reach out if you have any questions.  You can contact me at ccaric@cdeducation.org
