SMM School Updates and Information
Thank you to those families who attended our Curriculum and Meet-the-Teacher events earlier this week! Some information from my presentation that was shared included athletic opportunities for 4th-8th graders, Band sign-ups for students in grades 5-8, how families can be involved in our Home and School Association (HASA) and details about SMM’s 10-Service Hours.
Our school theme is: Let Your Light Shine and each classroom will be working together to exude their light this year. In addition, our staff will closely observe those students who are demonstrating POSITIVE behavior, shining their light towards staff and classmates, and representing our school beliefs to reward them with a “Gotcha” reward or be nominated for Student of the Month. We look forward to these recognitions this year.
