Busing Information for SMM Families
Parents must submit a transportation request directly through the Columbus City Schools Transportation Portal. This process is required each school year, even if your child received busing in the past.
Steps to Apply

Visit the Columbus City Schools Transportation website. Click HERE.

Select the option for Non-Public/Charter Transportation Request.

Complete the online form with your student’s information.

Submit the request as soon as possible—late submissions may delay route assignments.

Columbus City Schools determines eligibility and routing based on your home address.

Processing times can vary, especially during the summer months.

Once your request is approved, CCS will assign a bus route and notify families directly.

If your student is approved for transportation, please make sure your contact information is up to date so you receive all route updates.
